Action Reflection LearningTM (ARL) is a time-tested approach to learning based upon ten fundamental learning principles that have guided the professional development of individuals and transformed organizations around the world for nearly 30 years. This holistic methodology with its intense focus on learning style preferences, reflective practice, and experiential learning stands apart from traditional training methods.

LIM, a pioneer in the development of ARL, has been designing and implementing Action Reflection Learning coaching interventions for over three decades on five continents, and has helped leaders and teams address the challenges of maximizing productivity, professional development, and heightened employee engagement. Now,  through its LIM Academy, LIM offers for the first time a series of developmental workshops all designed to enhance the skills of Learning Coaches in the Action Reflection Learning (ARL) methodology.

WHAT IS THE OFFER?

In the first phase, the LIM Academy is offering two programs to organizations and individuals interested in developing competency in the Action Reflection Learning Team Coaching methodology. The ARL Team Coaching programs are uniquely designed to optimize learning by combining theory with practice, while adhering to the proven Action Reflection Learning principles. All the modules and sessions are anchored in real action and issues, not on business simulations. The focus is on addressing actual business challenges while the participants learn how to solve real problems through reflection and introduction of Just in Time concepts and tools. The choice of program will depend on the needs and interests of the organization or individual in the coaching process.

The first program, the ARL Team Coach Awareness Program, is a two-day standalone program – offered as both an open enrollment and an in-house workshop – which introduces the participants to the basics of ARL as applied to coaching teams.

The second program, the ARL Team Coach Certification Program – offered only as an internal in-house program – provides a deeper understanding and practice of the ARL methodology and is primarily focused on those directly charged with the professional development of the organization’s leaders, and its High Performing Teams. This will include Human Resources, Organization Development, Talent Development, and Learning Officers, but it is also relevant to, and addressed to, line management and team leaders. It is a six-day program divided into three modules, separated by time in between (generally 1-2 months) to provide participants the opportunity to try out concepts and tools they learn in each module.
